With one in five children in Milton Keynes living in poverty last year*, the Child Poverty Commission will gain a better understanding of the nature of poverty in Milton Keynes.
The work aims to help local communities by looking at how support such as debt, benefits and careers advice can be best targeted.
Local children, young people and families are being asked to come forward and help highlight the reality of day-to-day life for people struggling on low incomes across the borough. The Child Poverty Commission is asking the community to share their experience of living on low income to help tackle child poverty in Milton Keynes.
